Teaming Up Against Hatred

Imam Mohamed Magid, who participated in CBB’s December conference, and Rabbi Robert Nosanchuk, who had planned to attend, have been partners in interfaith work for nearly six years in Northern Virginia. They were together selected as “Washingtonians of the Year (2009)” by Washingtonian Magazine.

Magid leads the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), and Nosanchuk leads Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation in Reston. Their partnership has included a series of conversations on the role of women in the Abrahamic faiths.
