Evangelicals and Muslims

CBB founder, Imam Yahya Hendi, is among speakers at the upcoming “Global Leadership Forum 2010: Evangelicals and Muslims.” Reverend Rick Love, who participated in CBB’s interfaith conference on Human Rights, is also scheduled to speak.

Sponsored by The Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, the conference takes place at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, June 16 – 17. This event is free and open to the public.

Rev. Love is part of the workshop: “Mission and Dawa: Evangelization or Proselytization?” which begins at 9:00 a.m. on June 17.

Imam Hendi is part of the workshop, “How can we practically live out our faith together, despite irreconcilable theological differences?” scheduled for 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on June 17.

“Can Muslims and Christians be Partners in Reconciliation and Conflict Transformation? is the topic for the final session on June 17, at 1:30 p.m.

The evening topic for June 16, 5:00 p.m. is “Faith and Identity.”
